Nominations for the SMUSA Teaching Excellence Awards are out! The SMUSA Teaching Excellence Awards are presented to those professors, teaching assistants, and/or other University members who have gone above and beyond their call of duty. Nominees have demonstrated concern and commitment for the quality of student life either within or outside of the classroom setting and have positively affected the learning environment for students. These awards are presented to show gratitude from the students for all the hard work that the nominees have done and to show appreciation of their efforts towards improving the quality of life and educational experiences at Saint Mary’s University. There are five awards given out annually: Arts, Science, Commerce, Overall, and one for a TA. Any student can nominate their instructor or TA. The awards really mean a lot because they come from the students. A committee will examine all the nominations and decide who best deserves the award.

Nomination Deadline: Friday, March 2th at 5:00pm!!!

Forms may be picked up and submitted at the Student Centre Information Desk, the Loyola Residence Desk, the 5th Floor Student Centre, or at various drop off boxes around campus.

Forms can also be downloaded at www.smusa.ca and may be emailed to Adam Harris, Vice-President Academic at vpacademic@smusa.ca, or you can print one off and drop it off!
