Early Registration! Notice from the Registrar!

Registration for the 2009-2010 academic year will begin on Thursday March 12, 2009.

Category A: March 12, 2009 at 9:30am

1. Students in the Faculties of Arts, Science and Sobey School of Business
a.who have BOTH officially declared their major(s) or honors; AND as of January 1, 2009 have: i.earned 60 credit hours or more in a 120 credit hour program or, ii. earned 45 credit hours or more in a 90 credit hour program.

2. All students in diploma or certificate programs (as primary program).

3. All students officially enrolled in Honors Equivalency programs.

4. All Graduate level program students.

Category B: March 17, 2009 at 9:30am

1. Students in the Faculties of Arts, Science and Sobey School of Business who as of January 1, 2009 have
a. earned 31 or more credit hours in a 120 credit hour program or
b. earned 45 or more credit hours in a 90 credit hour program

Category C: March 19, 2009 at 9:30am

1. Students in the Faculties of Arts, Science and Sobey School of Business who as of January 1, 2009 have
a. earned less than 30 credit hours, in a 120 credit hour program
b. earned less than 44 credit hours in a 90 credit hour program

2. All NEW undergraduate students transferring from another post-secondary institution(s)

The Registration Advising Unit (RAU) will operate out of the lobby of the Theatre Auditorium from March 12 to March 19 from 9:30 to 3:00pm. The RAU is available to answer questions on the process of registration and the use of Self Service. The RAU will be staffed by fulltime employees of the Registrar’s and Recruitment offices.

The Self Service will be very busy during the first 2 hours of each day that a new category begins.

Students who intend to register during this period are encouraged to select their CRN’s in advance and ensure they meet all stated prerequisites and corequisites (labs).
